Mapping method for simulation of magnetic and optical properties of

ensembles of nano-objects

In this report, we present a computational method for simulation of the magnetic and optical properties of ensembles of semiconductor nano objects with various shape. The combination between physical quantities of single nano-objects and statistics is exploited to calculate the average value of physical quantities of ensembles of nano-objects. Then we are able to simulation the homogeneous and inhomogeneous broadening effect in the ensembles. Our calculation is done in full three dimensional description which allows us to consider realistic nano-objects with wide range of geometry (size, shape) and composition, etc.. The numerical calculation was done by using COMSOL multiphysics. We implemented our method to consider the inhomogeneous broadening due to the size and shape dispersion in ensemble of asymmetrical wobbled nano-rings and triple concentric nano-rings which are really new
kind of semiconductor nano-objects.
