Fabrication and application of triboelectric nanogenerators
The greatest way to end the energy issue is to convert energy from daily activities into useable electrical energy. The use of batteries, which have a difficult time being recycled and disposed of, is fully reduced by this idea. There aren’t many energy harvesters for electrical vibration energy harvesting; nonetheless, their manufacture, installation, and maintenance are rather challenging. Low-power electronic devices can use triboelectric nanogenerators (TENG) in place of batteries because of its simple design, low cost of production, and great energy efficiency. TENGs are capable of functioning in a variety of modes, including contact-separation, sliding, single-electrode, and free-standing modes. The structure of TENGs and their corresponding operating modes can be used to generate electricity as well as serve as a wearable and portable power source. The production of triboelectric charge may be improved by fabricating triboelectric layers with micro-roughness.
